IN 1973, Ply Gem Windows’ Auburn, Washington facility was opened to serve the building industry through manufacturing and selling windows, doors, and other vinyl extruded products, In 1985, this facility manufactured the first vinyl window for the home constriction on the West Coast. To ensure the highest product quality and allow for design flexibility, the Auburn plant began extruding vinyl profiles in 1990, becoming the first integrated extruder/ manufacturer on the West Coast and one of only a handful nationwide. Ply Gem Windows continues to expand in the West and now has plant locations in West Sacrament and Corona, California.
